Cinco De Mayo Fiesta-
2008 will be the 24th birthday for the largest Cinco de Mayo Fiesta in North America. Of course, it wasn’t always that way.
It all started in 1983 when a small group of volunteers, looking to celebrate the newly formed sister-city relationship with all of the communities around Portland, decided to create a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
The celebration was modest, with great food and drink. Fully staffed by volunteers who created a safe, family friendly environment. It was a true celebration of Cinco de Mayo and the new mission of the Portland-Guadalajara Sister City Association.

Buyers Remorse >For Sale to SOLD
It takes a lot more than a "For Sale" sign in the front yard, a Multiple Listing entry, and an occasional ad in the classifieds to get a listing sold. When real estate agents sell a house, we sometimes have to "sell" it again and again before the contract is actually signed by the buyers and sellers.
Many events must occur before the closing. The house must be "sold" to the buyers' relatives, the home inspector, the appraiser, and other experts. The buyers must secure a mortgage. At some point during the process, the buyers may go through a serious case of "buyers' remorse" and consider backing out of the transaction.
